Default Spot tail shiner minnows?

This summer I am hoping to catch a good supply of spot tail shiners to freeze and reuse for bait. Which lakes seem to have the best populations of these baitfish? Thanks.

Default Shiners

Years ago we used to net them in Moose Lake......
Not sure if the population is still solid, but nice a sandy beach in sunny warm day. Find a quiet spot not public beach areas.......
A couple of Ice Cream pails would be easy with one or for sure on two goes.
Others might know it there is still a good population.
sst

We used to catch pail fulls of them at Moose Lake too. Best walleye bait ever, but that was 40 years ago. LOL.
