Default picture for pal

I'm filling out the forms for getting my pal. My fac runs out mid May and want to get the paperwork started before it runs out. My question is where or how is a good way to get the picture required for the application. I live in a rural area, can you get the picture taken by a business like a registration office for driving? Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thanks.

There should be someone in your town that takes passport photos. Try a photo store or registry office.

I'll be damned if I was going to spend good money on a picture for this crap.. I simply plugged the video cam into the computer (A web cam will work) and grabbed a frame, sized it to what they wanted, printed it on normal inkjet photo stock, stuck the sticker on the back, my wife signed it and I mailed it off.. The only reason I even got a licence was I own registered handguns. If it wasn't for them, they could go get stuffed.. By the way, the pic turned out fine on the final plastic 'liberal licence'
