bassano dam?

My boat motor has a seal that is leaking grease out by the prop so I was thinking of trying some shore fishing. I have been meaning to try out the bow river below the bassano dam. I have never been there and was hoping someone could tell me if it has been producing lately and what works the best. I had a great time fishing at the bottom end of the lower bow a month ago and thought i would try the top. We were just using picerel rigs with worms and small minnows at the forks. Any advise would be appreciated.
