Default Shore Fishing Lethy Area

hey gang -- gonna be down around Lethbridge over Labour Day weekend and hoping to wet a line. I know about The Forks north of Taber, but is the Oldman River decent for tossing a line? Is it kinda similar to the North/South Sask, where you can toss pick rigs and minnows/worms/etc and get into multi-species? Or more like the Bow, where it's about spinners and spoons for mostly trout?

Thanks in advance!!

I've never had a bite in the river but some people seem to do well. I prefer to fish some of the little lakes for pike like henderson and Nicolas Sheran. Or even park lake a little bit out of town.

Wicked -- thanks bud! Might just have to head up to The Forks and give that a run...

Keho lake has some nice pike, best in a boat but I've seen people fishing the canal and the boat launch on the other side.
