Default Some patterns tied up today

Filling the box more, leave for work soon for 10 days, well, hopefully its the full 10 but the company's cleaning house with layoffs. In between job hunting I do some tying, takes the edge off the stress and lets a guy forget about everything and focus on a hobby/addiction I love.

LOVE fishing these no hackle drys, not very durable but super effective.

Nice ties, does the first one float?

Tying extended bodies are very difficult for me. You make them look easy! Very nice work.

No, doubt. When I tie flies the trimmings in the trash can look better than the flies I tied with them. They still catch fish.

Thumbs up Kings River caddis

Great caddis pattern when fish are being picky although its not super durable ..... Wing is usually turkey quill which can be lacquered to make it more durable .....nice ties

Great stuff as usual.
Do you have a caddis pupa that you use for stillwater?
