Default day at the lake!!

well the family and i headed out for the day, had a little elk sausage over an open fire, and i headed out for a couple hours to fish. i caught my very first lake trout on the fly!! not huge by any means but good enough for me. seen some elk, beautiful scenery, and a couple fish pics. thought i would post a few, take care, rob

By Hinton, that makes it even better. I lived there for twenty years and miss it, for those reasons.

Default lakers?

vex, this was my first one and he fought well. soon as he got close to the boat he would run a bit. he aint huge but from what i have read the big boys are notorious for big runs, taking you to the backing several times. i had one hit and when i set the hook it snapped my 9 pound tippet right in the middle. really wanted to hook that guy up. take care, rob
