Default New PB Brown Trout !

Hey guys,

I was out fishing last weekend, Had a pretty decent morning. I ended up landing this brute of a brown trout. This brown Measured in at 30" and 13lb.

The fight this fish gave was insane, had to chase it down with the outboard twice. After fighting her for 15 minutes, we managed to get her in the net. This fish was caught on a lite action 6' Shimano Compre with a Pflueger President loaded with 6lb Mono !

This is going to be a fish I will never forget !
ENJOY !

.

Default New PB brpwn Trou

Sweet brown I know what you mean about a fish you will not forget, I caught a 12 or 13 lb laker in Lac Lac Plonge a few yrs ago on light gear we had to chase it around as well. I landed a 17" 2.5 lb rainbow at Beaver Mines a week ago it was a sweet fish as well but certainly nothing like that 1, what did you catch it on ?

Well like I said, that's awesome!!! I had no idea that you could catch Brown Trout that big in Alberta.

The only one I have seen that big was one my father caught on Lake Ontario, it was 16+ lbs. I can post a picture if you like.

Personal best? You may have maxed out your best on the browns. In Alberta anyways.

Gorgeous fish.

That is one beautiful fish, not just the size but it is a prime specimen! Must have been an incredible fight, I have never broken the 8lb mark on a Brown. Well done Barry!
