WMU 326 anyone seeing elk out there?

Heading out that way soon hunting and just wondering if anyone has seen any elk running around? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Seeing elk out there is Getting to be about as common as seeing unicorns and Sasquatch. Few around but very limited!

Yes very few anywhere close to the road. Seen some. But you have to put some boot leather on

That’s as tough as it gets for elk. They are they but usually in small pockets far from the roads. I have also found that any atv traffic will completely shut them down from moving. Definitely have to walk.

Also looking to head out there this week for some scouting. I'll let you know if I see anything.

Been in that area for at least 10 years..
Wolves stop them from calling.
People on machines have pushed them into the back woods...

I spent a whole season looking for elk in this WMU 2 seasons ago. Hundreds of miles on the boots. Didn’t see one Elk. Only saw a few deer. TONS of wolf tracks though. Haven’t been back to hunt this WMU since, and don’t plan too. Too much pressure/predators.
