Default Fishing Sask

I am planning a trip out to Saskatchewan and was wondering if anyone had information on Codette or Tobin Lake. Heard there are big fish there and just looking for a push in the right direction. Don't need any secret spots, but general areas of the lake would be a big help. Thanks.

i haven't been to tobin in a few years and i was with my uncle. he took us out to what seemed like the middle of the lake. There was like this sunken island (10 feet deep). Anyways we were slaying northerns all day. Talking like 45 inches constantly. Problem is that a little wind and you get like 10 foot waves.

We usually go to Nipawin and fish the river, (controlled drifting). Tons of walleye in there. The campground is very nice as well.

Hope that helps.

Here's the link to Nipawan ( Home of the Vanity Cup) The Owners and staff are very personable and friendly. You can obtain a free map and they will tell you where to go and where to avoid..

Everyone that I have suggested this to, went there, and were very impressed.

talked to a buddy who lives in Nipawan and he wants to go up to Pelican Narrows in a couple of weeks. One of his relations has agreed to show us his secret spot.

Try WALLS FLATS on Tobin, you could always ask the crew at SILVER TIP OUTFITTING at Tobin Lake resort.they will point you in the right direction..
