Default Nordegg

Hey everyone, I'm heading to Nordegg tomorrow for some fishing and was wondering if anyone could give me a report on Goldeye and/or Fish lake?

I have been to both before, just wondering if there is more action at one lake over the other right now. Thanks!

Was there two weeks ago, caught about a dozen trolling with a willowleaf at fish lake. We didn't fish Goldeye, but caught half a dozen from the trout pond on the Trunk road. We also hiked up to Allstones and hooked a nice brook.

Fishing was good at both lakes. Caught fish consistently on south side of fish lake. Only one 18" though. Caught some pike at jackfish too

You will do well at both lakes. Cammaburra what size was your brookie at Allstones? Just a heads up to anyone heading into Obstruction Lake this year it appears to have Winter-killed...again or just a no results day. We also fished it last year with no results. We will try Coral Lake for Goldens this year.
