I got just over 3 today. All in rams.
The open country snaring thread is tough for me to post in. It's hard to hide the ram. Lol

Those rams sure are something. watched a video on them the other day, sure would hate to catch one in the side of the noodle.
What does your typical setup look like?

I almost had my face taken off by one this winter. Be extra careful with them!

Default Ram

treat them like a loaded rifle...
watch where you position them to your body and vica versa.
Had one discharge a week ago that slapped my hand injuring my thumb which feels like a sprain to this day.
Coyotes caught in my Wolfmasters don't last long.

300 is a serious amount of coyotes! Congrats on that! That many takes hard work and dedication. I hope that you are well rewarded at auction.
I’ve never used rams but I’m sure that there’s a bunch of work and technique involved.

Thanks guys

I don't really take pics of setups and if I did I don't know how to post them. Lol

The guy laying down the wolf master ram in the open country post is on the right track, pun intended. 🙂

Can you describe the way you hide your ram in open country. Do you stand ram in snow and stick brush in front of it?
