Default Nordegg Tips and hotspots

Heading out to Nordegg area at the end of the month, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, tips, etc.

Anything would be appreciated, because I have heard there is great fishing there.....but with so many places possible, I need to narrow it down.

Thanks..!

I haven't fished there myself, but my cousins do. I do know that quite a few lakes out there don't allow power boats. I'm sure you knew about that, but just in case.

Shunda is right at nordegg and is nice little stream for brookies.
There's lakes just minutes outside of nordegg too with bows.
Some rivers out there are only C&R with full bait ban in effect so make sure to check the regs before venturing out.

Beautiful area, have fun

Also don't overlook the trunk road, just do some exploring and you'll find trout.
