Default Nordegg lakes Ice?

Hi There, Sorry I don't have the experience yet to know about the ice/open water situations in lakes around our great province... I want to fish this Sat and am hoping someone knows about the ice situation for the small trout lakes by Nordegg.

Any thoughts? This time last year these lakes were clear ... but that was last year. Even if you don't know but have a HUNCH I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I would bet they are still frozen. if you look, all the ponds around and in Edmonton are still frozen. im beginning to think mid may the ice might be just about gone with a few lakes having ice still in June out west.

I was at the athabasca river in jasper this easter weekend and every lake was still frozen over and also all the creeks. i highly doubt that any of the lakes near nordegg are open, try the north sask river, i know that is open, was there 2 weeks ago near Rocky mountain house, landed a couple nice browns.
