Long term Mexican rentals

Wife and I are retired and as much as we still enjoy skiing, ice fishing etc are considering wintering on the west cost of Mexico from Jan-March. Preference would be from Manzanillo north to Cabo. Anyone done any 3 month long term condo rentals and any advice on how to find a decent place in the
1500-2500/mth range?

Check out Air B&B or VRBO for that area.

My parents own property in La-penita which is located 1 hour North of Puerto Vallarta, the town next to it is Rincon guabito's there are tons of rentals in that area, lots of beach bars, nice beach and a great place to hang out.
