Hot linking directly to the site usually has the poll get shut down as they know people are being directed there from this site.

Just google the red deer advocate’s site and go that way.

Thumbs down It's not worth the paper it's not written on !

.
Another meaningless, unscientific, good-for-nothing Media Poll.

Why do you guys waste your time with them?!

So you think media polls influence policy?! ... Think Again!

Unscientific Media polls are there for 'entertainment' purposes only. Nobody uses them to make or set policy. If you want to participate in a Media Poll, fill your boots ... but don't be fooled into thinking that it's something, it's not.

Me thinks you are giving our politicians and civil servants a tad bit too much credit.

If it was ever found out that a civil servant or politician was stupid enough to use media polls in their work,
they'd be fired, or laughed out of parliament !

I have no respect for useless media polls, and little use for petitions, but for those here who think polls and
petitions are the way to go, at least, Do It Right ... https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/H...ForPetitioners

Yes, homeowners should be allowed to protect their property, but if you think for one second that that this would ever become law you are delusional. I'm on your side but the chances that any government in this country would change a law to allow homeowners to let the air out of thieves is zero.

People who live in rural areas where the nearest Mountie is 40 minutes away should take Ralph's advice- shoot, shovel and shut-up. You may be in the right, you may feel violated, you may be a victim but we live in a culture where the system believes it is morally superior to be a victim than to protect oneself.

Truth but maybe you could humour us and not be so blunt. Lol. The truth hurts you know.

You guys say that the poll means nothing should read a book called No Where To Run. To make a long story short a farm kid from the Grande Prairie area shot and killed his abusive father. The neighbors advocated for the kid during his trial with letters and other methods. The young man was aquited I believe do to the community pressure to do so.

As someone on this forum said, always have a sizeable hole dug on your property.

This poll, it’s question and responses are a total garbage fire. There’s even people trying to throw in the second amendment. Any outcome of this poll will be less useful than the suppressor for saving hearing petition that was defeated by a wear earplugs response.

Poorly written poll. The questions should not have been "right to be armed".

Should have asked "right to use."
