My telus tv box went on the blink,new one being mailed,
Is this the way they do business now? One time they would send a technician,now i have to wait a week to get regular TV again,its being sent in the mail and i have to send back the old one,Telus is opperating like Amazon. I tried to get the CTV app its free they say but you have to give them a credit card number.My rant for today.

It's been this way for a long time. Easier and less expensive to send a new box and get the old one sent back.
Had to do it a few years ago myself.

Same for Shaw. Switched from "regular" cable to "BlueCurve". Sent me two tv boxes and remotes in the mail with instructions to send the old ones back. Had the option of going to the Shaw store in Lethbridge to pick/return the stuff but decided to wait for them in the mail.
