Exclamation PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCMENT - Boating

Just so everyone knows, when you launch a boat with trailer, make sure the boat is the FIRST part that goes into the water, and not the truck.

Thank you. This now concludes our public safety announcement for the day.

Hmmmm... I'll have to add that to my checklist:

- put the plug in
- take off the rear straps
- unclip the safety chain
- BACK the boat into the water!

Apparently, Ford built 60 of these little one man subs in 22 months. They were called the "EAGLE". The contract ended in Nov, 1922

Odd, I coulda swore the one in the photo at the top of the thread was an F150 class built very recently. Well at least it's not a British built sub being passed off to Canadians.

Ya right, men are perfect drivers. It was probably some woman putting her makeup on with one hand and yapping on a cell phone with the other.

maybe it was a man in care & control but I would not a$sume that and then a$sume that the person did it on purpose. More than likely the person thought it was in park when it wasn't and that mistake is not gender specific.

mods your word restriction is 100% over the top.

Ok this takes the cake ive never seen someone end up driving into a lake , Ive seen boat dropped off the back of the boat , seen a few boats sink , watched the axel fall outta one guys trailer , Hell ive even seen a guy backing onto the launch and his tranny gave out but he was backed up , And many many more and just when I thought I saw it all .

Don't be too cruel. Of the 3 major American auto makers, Ford is the only one still afloat.

Since the shots you fools try to take at me are generally so weak, sometimes I take it upon myself to simply GIVE you some material to work with. I can be generous that way.

Diver, it's not white.........
