I am hoping the Hawks can SPANK the Nucks as well
SON OF A B.....
Minny is not the team we want to be down to by two goals esp thanks to BB's jinx, thanks for nothing man not hitting the panic button yet lots of hockey left to play, but coming back against minny is tough

Oh wings are done and game is on Later!

Man this is getting intense. A bit of foreplay for the first round (that is if the Canucks can't catch the Flames).

Sigh....... It's all for the greater good I suppose.

An Oil playoff berth shall only prolong the pain...........

For the life of me, I cannot understand why they are not allowed to play the way they did in the third all the time. Let the horses out for God's sakes!

One of the things I always loved about the Oilers was the philosophy that a 1 goal loss was exactly the same as a 10 goal loss. It was a game plan of just going out there and playing the damn game. That tradition has been lost.

As much as my head would love to seem them make the show with the potential for a BOA, my heart knows that it would be better in the long run for them to yet again sit this season out. That sucks azz.

Well..I was thinking a combo Whitetail/Elk hunt.. (Think November). No sense haveing you come out here to chase Black bears. And your moose/Elk points would take to long..

Or we could look at Pheasants/Ducks/Geese???

But if you really want to talk about it.. PM me and lets see what we can set up.

Yeah, I gotta agree. As a fan I can NEVER watch an Oiler game and hope they lose. It's not in me. I want them to win.... But later, taking a step back, I think missing the playoffs MAY help bring on the major housecleaning I've come to believe they need.

Yes, that's why I said "May"... not sure how many playoffs they have to miss before change comes.

here is what will happen......it will get to a point where we are def. out of the playoffs...and then we will win all the remaining games with ease....the boys will be flying..scoring almost at will etc...and those last 3 or 4 games will make the rest of the season dissappear...and we will be forced to swallow the "well look how well the played at the end" line again.....heaps of praise will be put on the young guys..and loads of exrectations will be put on for next season..but no significant changes will be made...cause look how well we did at the end......bah...!!!

I think the players themselves feel the same as a lot of fans do. If they miss the playoffs they may finally get a new coach and then a new system as well. Hemsky coming out the way he did means that he is not the only one feeling the way he does. He is well liked by all the players on the team and I believe there is more in the same boat as him. We will see what the new owner is all about this off season.

x2 on that!! I had high hopes for a playoff BOA a couple weeks ago, but now cant see it happening.

The boys looked good in the third, thought they were coming back!

Clash I hope you are wrong on this one but we have seen it before...

haha well i will consider that when wanting to make a snide remark about choking in the first round..again haha...

to be honest BB i don't mind losing if the team puts in an effort..and right now..roli is the only player on the oil with any drive or effort out on the ice....just gets a bit old after awhile....feel a bit ripped off. and as much as i like many of the players on the oil.....it is time for a change.

Boy the Flames are playing crappy hockey. It seems like we pressure and pressure..then let in a soft one.Uggg Kippy has to get better as well as are top line guys. There is no reason with the firepower we have that we should not be able to beat SJ with the Key guys they have out of the line up.
