Default summer adventure

Anyone looking for a summer adventure might consider a trip up the icefield parkway to mt Athabasca, The climb to the summit should take 9-10 hours, leave early 3-4am to take atvantage of the frozen snow and less avalance danger. The mountain by virtue of its location is now a likely candidate as the most climbed major peak in the rockies. At 3491 meters, some days a dozen or more make the journey, the added bonus a large portion of the columbia icefield is visible from the summit.
