Default Oldman dam .

Hello, I was wondering if any one has been to the dam. I heard that the weren't letting boats on it after the flood.

Thanks.

You may try calling somebody in the area if you dont get an answer. RCMP, Sporting stores, etc. If there are no boats allowed, who would be the ones to hand out a ticket? I have no idea who would patrol that body of water, but if you do, call them directly.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Default Yup

Just heard that they are allowing boats on there, not sure if all boat launches are open.
I'd be really careful about floating logs if I were you.

It looked like the old river log driver jams of the 1920s this June.

We launched a boat on the Old Man Dam about a week ago.
Only saw one log floating while trolling. The whole shoreline on the
dam has lots of logs on it from the flood. The logs on shore are 6 ft above the waterline now. Trolled for several hours and lost 2 fish.

Fish and Wildlife would hand out the ticket.
Fish and Wildlife patrol that body of water.
No more help needed.
