Default fun with my son

Couple of pics....hooked my son on ice fishing!! and he even loves to eat the fish too. a burbot and young pike (released) also caught a legal pike...after about 10 undersized ones kept the action hopping!!

also Wizard Lake near Leduc

oddly, there's not supposed to be any burbot there....but am not complaining!

Wizard lake is chock full of undersized pike, which makes it great for the kids..although mine cried when I told him we had to put the fish back!!

...very few perch tho. the lake is very narrow and easy to access. small lake near leduc, south of Calmar.
