Anyone been on the ice at the Oldman Reservoir? I have not seen 1 report on any chat line regarding anybody fishing there. I had a great couple of days in the fall trolling a Panther Martin even with the reservoir being super low. Has anybody out there give her a try????
I had a neighbor who targeted browns on there all the time in the late 1990's. I've never tried ice fishing it myself but have always thought it would be worth a try. There's likely some record size bullies in there and i know a few lakers have even showed up. Lake levels are pretty low this year so I'm not sure where I'd go, got to be fish throughout it though. Were you catching mostly rainbows in the summer?
I was catching about 4 Rainbows to every Bull. The only Brown I caught was where the Clearwater enters, the Bulls were definitely the larger of the fish caught. The Rainbows are kind of short but really deep, they were really good fighters there compared to the other lakes in Southern Alberta.
