hahahaha true. Very true. Never thought of that!

That photo was about 20 years, lots of hair and 40 lbs ago. God, in whatever form, has a strange sense of humour!

Not a big fisherman but get out when I can. Here is a couple from down south. My biggest bass, I couldn't catch on to the little worms they use. If it isn't a spoon forget it.

Caught over thirty Pike today. But I haven't had time to process any photos yet. Just rolled into the yard fifteen minutes ago.

Missed the best photo of the day. I was reeling in a two pound Pike and a much larger Pike, maybe eight pounds grabbed it. I had the two of them right up against the boat for about a minute but didn't think of the camera until after the big fish let go and headed for parts unknown.
I did get a couple of photos of two different 16" Pike with major bite marks on them. There was something much bigger and very hungry in that Lake, alas I didn't catch it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the one that tried to eat my catch.
With all the fish I caught, only three were big enough to keep.

I'll post pictures sometime tomorrow.

Lots of awesome pictures in this thread! Womanofthewild, yours was great! I make that expression a lot too. LOL!

My favorite pictures aren't beautiful. I just like them because they make me laugh when I look back on them. Like this one...it looks all peaceful. I'm holding my first walleye and appear to be taking in it's beauty....

The reality: I didn't know walleye are so sharp and I'm stuck with it in my hands. It has already cut me twice while unhooking it and I'm actually trying to figure out how to get it back in the water knowing it's going to freak out and cut me up some more. For half a second I considered launching it like a football. lol! Ah, the memories.

Okay, as promised, here are some of the photos I took yesterday.

Keep in mind, I fish alone so all of these photos were taken by me while holding the rod in one hand and the camera in the other. Pretty hard to pose with a fish when you're by yourself.

I start out with a Five of Diamonds, but the third fish broke my cheep leader and got away with my five of diamonds.

This is the one that took my hook, at the moment it happened.

From then on I tried about everything I had.

Most of the rest of the photos I took are pretty much the same as these except for the next three.

First, the one and only Pickerel of the day. Not sure of the weight, it was 21 inches long though.

And, two fish with signs of being attacked by a larger fish.

Awesome pictures everyone!

Mike, what is that ugly thing you are holding in photo #10?
Awesome photos btw. Looks like you have experience some incredible fishing!

I've got to get another shot at fishing salt water. Maybe next year.
And I've gotta figure out a way to get to Rae Edzo without having to mortgage the house.
