13 inch perch from Skeleton Lake!
Caught a monster perch at skeleton lake on sunday! 13 inches long weighing in at 1 pound. I was virticaly jigging a tiny green jig tipped with a maggot in like 8 feet of water when my rod doubled over and stared taking out line. I'm thinking just another hammer handle pike so I reel her in and... "Holy ****!!! Look at the size of this thing." That was my only perch of the day but man it was the biggest perch i've ever seen. So I filleted it and cut open the stomach and it was empty but it was carrying eggs. Do perch not eat as much when they spawn? I will post a picture soon!
