Default My Kids First Decent Sturgeon

Just figured I would share a pic of my 12yr old sons first decent sturgeon out of the NSR tonight. Its seemed like he has a curse, as whenever he comes out we only get little guys (<10lbs), and I kept promising him that there would be nothing like it when he finally got a decent good one on the end of the line. Its fair to say I was right, and it was the best 17 minutes of his young fishing life so far working to get it in lol. Unfortunately, it was just us two in the boat, so the pic is only of me, as he didnt want to risk dropping it trying to hold it up.

Thanks guys! 58, that’s the look I was going for lol, cross between a sandstorm and thunderstorm lol.

Unfortunately my tape somehow found it’s was out of the boat at some point, so no measurement on it.
