Default Fishing Red Deer river near Drumheller

Where to launch? Is it any good this time of year? Hot set-ups? Thanks.

You can launch at Newcastle Beach in Drumheller. Water levels are usually quite low. Small silver or gold spinners or spoons work great for Goldeye. Beaver dams will occasionally hold Pike. Walters in the gravelly areas. 5 o' diamonds can't go wrong.

Just drove over the Morrin bridge, looks like a very nice (new) boat launch there. Not to far from Drumheller. River looks quite low.
