Default Weird Year for 300 Mule Doe Draw Numbers

Wonder what is going on with 300 mule doe numbers. Last year there was 104 tags issues and this year 10. Seems like a drastic drop? I've become accustomed to getting that tag at least every other year. I wonder if its A) a mistake or B) something happened to the population. They issued 55 buck tags this year, seems strange for only 10 does? Anyone I could call for an explanation, as family has property there, so would be curious if something caused that decision. Thanks...

I’m thinking a pretty bad winter kill , 4 feet of snow came on October 1.

I applied in 406 for antlerless MD - looks like less than half the tags issued this year compared to last (44 in 2019 vs 20 this year).

I should have been 100% for my priority 3 application but alas I missed out this year.

Got my cow elk draw though!

Maybe it’s time to stop hammering mulies so much in some zones.
They them populate a bit then hammer them again 😇
