Default Please Help

Any info on buck lake that anyone could share... I really tried looking for some info on it but dosent seem to have been talked about much this year. Is it because it is a hard lake to fish or just not good for ice fishing? Really could use any info anyone might have and tips. I am going to be up there tomorrow night and all day tuesday. Thanks and hope everyone is having a great start to the year.

I've also heard something about netting there and it might not be good. If anyone could touch on that too?

Never been there in winter, but yeah I heard it can be slow unless you have a decent known spot.

Default North or South

If you are talking about North buck the conditions have been a little slow..It does have some nice size perch in it but they can be tricky to locate...The lake levels have gone down over the last few years and i'm sure this is affecting the fishing..Talked with a few individuals about the conditions and the ice can be anywhere from 12-16" but I would still drill pilot holes and check for yourself. There is a good foot of snow on the lake deeper in spots from drifting, you will need a 4x4 quad or sled...Like I said drill holes first and often when venturing out on any lake... Or Sylvan or Pine. Lots of fishies in Pine if you can find them.
