Default Whitefish in McGregor?

Was at McGregor on the weekend. Caught lots of Pike and Walleye, but no Whitefish. They didn't seem too interested... maybe next time. I think i've tried almost everything...

Probably in shallower cause the burbot should be gettin ready to spawn so they will be following them around right now.

macgregor fishes best for whitefish just after the ice comes on and also in the fall. mid to late winter is usually hit and miss with whitefish because they move around so much. right now your best bet is in shallow early in the morning or late in the day as they will move into shallow weedy areas to feed and as lethal said they'll be all over the burbot spawn. now you just have to find where the ling dings spawn! lol
