Default Lake Newell

My vote goes to Newell as the very near future best as the "wallies" have to be big or the 25 to 30 # northerns will eat them! Although not a lake I vote the South Saskatchewan River as a close second best walleye water in Alberta to any lake mentioned here.

The main lake(reservoir) most definitely does......Most of the Walleye fishing is done more on the river section where there really aren't any dead heads....

I believe that the next record will come from the Athabasca River drainage.
Where the Pembina goes in the Athabasca is my fav.
