Default Long Lake by Boyle

Just curious if anyone has had much luck at Long. I dont have a boat or float tube, so cant go deep. I was gonna take the waders and give that a try.

Has anyone had much luck anywhere near the campground area or anywhere easily walkable?

I did shore fish a few years ago from a point near the campgrounds and got a half dozen hammerhandle pike in a hour or so.

Any hints on what to use?

A few years ago a buddy and I used the kids dingy and went out and got quite a few pike on red licorice...I know but they didnt bite on anything else...

Thanks in advance.
