Question Garmin Striker Plus 4

Hi guys. Has anyone used the Garmin FF? I have an old 15' tri hull I'm thinking of putting a Garmin Striker Plus 4 on. Specs look pretty good for a basic unit. Just curious how well they work.

I have one on my 16’ tin boat and works pretty good for a cheap unit, can save hotspots and see underwater structures and weeds pretty well. Easy to use and fairly basic

Default Autobuses tordandrea

The only thing I don't like is the GPS. marked a point that was 25 FOW and when I went back to the lake the GPS took me off course to 5 FOW. Definitely was not the same spot as before. plugged the gps coordinates into google maps and that works better.

I just bought one two weeks ago. I took it ice fishing last weekend and it seemed to work pretty well. I’m still learning how to use it and I’ve never fished with a fish finder before, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I’m going to set it up on a canoe for open water come spring.

Cabelas has the striker plus 4 for 180. It's a basic unit but for under 200 with gps that's pretty good.
