Default Eagle lake perch

Has anyone ever caught any perch or burbot at Eagle Lake by Strathmore?

Never have found any water deep enough I thought but F&W shows both perch and burbot.

Any one?

Default biast opinion

I myself have fished this body of water when it was booming with hungry fish. Caught our limit and then some numerous times. Never caught any walleye out of this lake, but am told there are quite a few in there. I have never heard of burbot or perch in this lake. You won't get many responses on this forum regarding this lake other than it's poopie and it is not a lake you would wanna eat anything out of anyways. I see many ppl fishing this lake and was there just a few days ago. Fishing was super slow from what I remember it being. Try it again and good luck to you

Default eagle lake

Used to catch good fish there 20 years ago. My personel best eye at just under 13 pounds. But at the deepest that lake is only 14 feet and not much structure. They kill many fish in the summer due to high water temps. I live in Strathmore and have ignored this lake for a few years just due to the lack of fish. In my opinion this is a dying lake and I don't see it getting any better.
