Default Speachless...

I took my kids down to PCR this morning for some boat fishing, and it turned into the best day ever. My son, daughter, AND I caught our first ever fish! My daughter caught 3 Walleyes, my son and I each got one. May not seem like a great haul but to us it was just magic. Seeing the thrill on their faces was better than winning the lottery.

Excellent! Just the first of many you will catch. Keep at it, those walleye will be putting on the feed bag soon...

Excellent! I remember your thread where you were asking where to take the kids, I'm happy to hear you found some luck. Keep at it at PCR, you'll get to the point where you can't keep them off the hook.

That's guys, and yes Pine Coulee is THE place for beginners wanting to fish on a lake. Best thing about this outing, besides the obvious quality family time, was the fact that the kids are really enthused about fishing now. Hooking their first fish well be a lifetime memory which should promote a love of the outdoors, getting away from the electronics, and the thrill of fishing!
