Default Red Deer River

I’m thinking about maybe hitting it downstream by Joffre. Is the river fishable now or is it still too high?
Thank you.

Just looking at real time flow and it looks like the flow rate has dropped quite a bit. Below the dickson dam the water flow would be more regulated and predictable too.

And fish do move around more in high water too.

Good luck

What do you use for monitoring the flow rates?

I personally use AB Rivers app for monitoring the water level.
Cheers

I just spent all afternoon floating it by Nevis. It’s fishable. And dropping more each hour.
