Default Old Riflescopes

I've got a beautiful pre-64 '06 that needs glass, and I can't bring myself to put a modern scope on it. Does anyone out there know where a guy may find an appropriate circa-specific scope and mounts? Say anywhere in the 1950's-1960's....Thanks in advance...

Keep an eye open at the next gun show. There is always a dozen or more tables with a display of overpriced and well used scopes.

Right here is a good place to start, put a want add up on the exchange. If that doesn't produce, other good places to check are ebay and CGN. Lots of old weavers, redfields and leupys out there.
