Default Steel Shot Alternative.....

I've got a Browning SxS with one Fixed full choke. Can anyone recommend an alternative to steel that doesn't cost a fortune...........or should I really consider reaming out the barrel to Imp Cyl or modified ??? It is stamped special steel......does that mean I can shoot anything from the fixed choke ?? Thx.

Have you looked at the classic doubles shot from envrio-metal They make the heavy shot line. It's not cheap though.

Default Shot alternatives

Get it reamed to Improved cylider, the other options are very expesive, in excess of $3.50 per shot, for Bismuth or Tungsten Matrix. Great products but expensive. FS

Sorry, but avoid anything with the word 'Hevi' in it with your double. You need a softer shot, and the few options are Bismuth (the best) and any type of soft tungsten/moly mix.
