Default Anyone looking for a bull Elk in 509?

Just got back late last night from hunting down Athabasca way (509). Yesterday after noon I walked in on a bachelor group of bulls. I saw 3 clearly but there was a couple others animals ahead of them so I’m assuming they were bulls also. One looked pretty good but I didn’t get a point count. He was wide and tall.

They were on grazing lease land and the landowner gave me permission so I’m also assuming he would give anyone permission. He would probably be happy if they were out of there.

I believe there is a 6 point or larger draw season on right now. I’m pretty sure the one bull would make it.

PM me if you have a tag and want to go after them. I’ll provide you with where they were yesterday early afternoon.

I had some help from the AO community just recently on a trip up to the Peace region. I figure this is just helping settle the score.
