something different on NSR
so fellow AO member YEEHAW and i hit the nsr friday afternoon on his boat. nice sunny afternoon and we boated a few wallies with yeehaw landing his first open water wallie of the year. he was happy and i was happy that he didn't fall out of boat this trip. lol. when we got back to the launch we watched a fellow launch a HOVERCRAFT. pretty amassing water/ice/land craft. iv'e seen a few air boats on the river and they were all EXTREMELY noisy, but this hover was not near as loud. pretty neat to watch him drive it of the trailer, over the shore and into the water. he said it was a new zealand designed craft, that is now being built in perry sound ontario. he also said this is the first one in western canada. i have some cool vid. of it in action but can only post some pics.
