Mr. D. ..... nicely done, big upgrade from your last shed, I'm sure you'll be "Happy" in there, I may have to stop by to visit if it's out before I depart for Phoenix in Dec.

Cheers

D.

Haul it out to Sylvan & Scott & I will give you a couple of options to drop anchor and enjoy some action.

Sad to say but I wouldn't leave anything too nice out on sylvan overnight. Not sure where society went down the pipe but a couple buddies had their empty shacks ransacked, stolen. Doors unlocked and nothing of value but still vandalized to the point of no return. Probably get worse before it gets better or someone thumps the dummies responsible.

Put a cell trail camera in your unit, most of these cameras send to 3 phone numbers, hope your close to respond to a intruder., Nice set up

Not meaning to freak you out happy but it's the way it is anymore. You got something nice that you are proud of better think worst case...Murphys law. There's some real bone heads in that sylvan area now. Personally I think gull is safer in the areas I fish but don't quote me. I'd rather fish sylvan in the winter. More fish better clarity better access if it's a heavy snow kinda winter, less heaves etc. Just my two cents.

I have two questions.
Do you live in Edmonton ?
Do you need a fishing partner ?

Nice shack. (Shack sounds too low rent to describe it.)
If you keep it in your driveway it's less likely to get vandalized.
The fishing won't be as good though...

You built it to fish in. If you don't take it out fishing, the terrorists win.

ill always meet new guys who wanna fish....but i live in calgary. But if u wanna fish in the shack u must be:
the opposite of a liberal
the opposite of a SJW
identify as a man or a woman
drink booze
smokers and chewers will be given preference.

shack will be on gull or sylvan. I might get a cell cam and find 2 locals who can go out if somone tries to break in.

and i will have a secret GPS in it so i can track it!!!

yea i agree....its gunna be on the ice.......i just hope to find some locals who are trustworthy around the area to keep a eye on it......im taking applications (HINT BWACK)

Happy

Something I do when I park my trailers for the season is remove a tire .
In your case I would remove all tires so they will not freeze in.
Takes only seconds with a cordless impact to put then back on and move it to a new spot. .

Looks comfy and warm, love the woodstove in the corner. Got any pics of the outside too?
We have had ours on Pigeon for about 8 years with no issues. But we have a couple locals that use it as much as they want, they have the key and can check on it daily. If they see headlights or vehicles around it, they rip out there to investigate. Most are either fishing in the same area or are just wanting to look at the shack. If you invite some of the locals out to fish, drink or just stop in to BS, they will be your best security. I wouldn't hesitate to give a key to an old local that just wants to go light the stove and relax and maybe catch a fish. Your shack is just missing a lazy boy recliner...
Enjoy your time in your little paradise this winter.
