So, there's been some changes to the IMGUR user interface, and the "direct link" option hasn't been working for some users.
They will need a bit of special treatment to show up on the forum properly.
There's a quick way to hand-edit the links for your pictures that should help with posting.
The first thing to do is identify what format your picture is in - essentially, the file name, whether it ends in .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .bmp etc.
You will also need the URL of your photo. So, for this example, I'll use this one, which I randomly borrowed from IMGUR:
https://imgur.com/9KGiWVQ
Usually wrapping a link to an image with the [IMG] tags would work, but in the case of IMGUR-hosted images, it doesn't. e.g.:
[IMG]https://imgur.com/9KGiWVQ[/IMG]
So, you'll need to do a bit more massaging - you need to modify the URL to have "
i." before the "imgur" and add the picture type extension at the end, which in many cases is
JPEG.
So, for this image, you would need to write the link like this:
[IMG]https://
i.imgur.com/9KGiWVQ
.jpeg[/IMG]
Then it should come out looking like this:
Hope this helps!
