Default Wildlife Issues

Great points about wildlife and habitat loss... On the land in question I'm planning to permanently fence-off 280 acres of riparian and wetland habitats, plan to install wildlife friendly fencing and will plant food crops on some of the cleared 680 acres for wildlife... Trying to do it right...

Then with Putin blowing the hell out of the Ukraine 'Breadbasket' we will probably need to clear more Alberta land to feed the masses. The deer will need to wait for the left overs.

Deer and elk don't mind cropland, easy feeding. Clearing for farm land is what brought about the expansion of WT deer populations and our elk have discovered that as well

A forest ecosystem is much more vast than only focusing on the above:

Rabbits, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, and badgers .. bear, bobcats.. Ladybugs, beetles, spiders, bees,
and many other buzzing bugs... snakes, frogs, newts, and skunks, porcupines, Birds, Herons, woodpeckers,
hummingbirds, bluebirds and cardinals..just for starters.
