Default Anybody use Paint ?

The program......I'm trying to block in some colors on a map. I can select the rectangle device to outline the boundary of the field but as soon as I hit the button to fill with paint, I lose my line ???

Don't use select tool. You have to draw a shape and select fill and it uses your second colour as fill.

Alternatively, you can download paint.net from getpaint.net.

It has more options and can make your selections transparent if you want to be able to still see details of the background.
