Default Louisianna

What are the chances of anyone from the state of Louisiana being on this forum. I am heading there in the morning and thought I would just throw this out there...

Was in NOLA for a visit a while back.

Try and look for a bad restaurant: couldn't find one. Make sure you try gator.

Some good gun shops down there, too.

We took the Mississippi River boat cruise from Memphis to New Orleans in 2012. Tried the Gator, it does taste like chicken.

You don't plan very far ahead!!
I was there back in the early 90s...Pick up some of their coffee and chicory; it is really good and very strong. Have a Hurricane or several...You can get it in a go-cup and wander around on the street!
We had some really good food, and some not so much. What you will notice is you will, if you are Caucasian, often be in a minority; this unnerved the ex-hubby which was odd as he grew up down there, although in the country club part of town...
I am sure it looks a lot different since Katrina blasted through there, but if you like old architecture and ornate iron fencing, check out the Garden District in NO. And wait till you see a magnolia tree!
