Default Across Canada Moving Company

Anyone have a recommendation for a moving company to move your household across Canada? Confusing to look at BBB when some major companies are not even listed, others only have a couple of reviews. Even online reviews are hard to follow as one company with a 5 star has input from only 2 people while another one will have a 4 star with input from 30 people. Looking for personal experience, honest replies, you can PM me if you like.
Moving a 3 bedroom house and a fully stocked (mechanics) garage. Quad and extra vehicle already being shipped, just household stuff to go. Any input appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

I used AMJ Campbell last year to go from Edmonton to New Brusnwick. Everything went smooth. Expensive though, works out to about a dollar a pound.

I sold some heavy stuff prior to moving.

North American Van Lines
Mayflower Van Lines
United Van Lines
Allied Van Lines

All of these are major van lines with affiliations across Canada. AMJ Campbell is an agent of Atlas Van Lines.

When I was in the military I moved frequently and agents were picked from the 4 major van lines listed above.

Make sure you google "moving company scams"

If you're not dealing with one of the more reputable companies out there (the above listed are reputable) this is an industry full of scam artists. Lots of stories out there of these people holding your goods hostage til you pony up a few more thousand.

If you move with a major company long distance that would be an awesome choice.
Always, always, always purchase replacement value insurance.

Let them do the packing: Yes it is costs money. But if you self pack there is no coverage on the items you packed.(lost, stolen or broken) 60 cents a lb if you do not insure.

The moving company will code on the listing forms damage on furniture. Make sure they do not over damage code your items on the listings. Always check off
the listings at destination.

Always, always, always get a guaranteed price. If they do not guarantee
the price, do not move with the company.
