great video. Thanks for sharing. Next time I'm out and nothing is working for whites i will try some smelt. I know i have seen those crazy fish go nuts for the weirdest things. Last year i caught one on a spinner through the ice about 10 sec after i put it down it was the only hit i got all day doesn't make any seance but sure stopped my fishing partner from laughing when he saw my tie it on

caught a whitefish on a rattling rap icefishing at wab. last year. never know whats going to work.

iliketrout pulled his PB Lake White this summer while jigging minnows for walleye in my boat... Have seen them vacuum up smelt and minnows laying on bottom which have fallen off from too much jiggery.

Strange enough I caught all these whites on an anchovie at Pinehurst Lake. Caught them all in a row, drop it down catch another one. Was great!.
