Default Jackfish lake(carvel)

Hey has anyone had any success there recently? I was there this afternoon for a few hours and never even had a nibble. I got almost every hook wet in my arsenal for species in thier including smelt and tipup for pike but couldn't get them to play today still great day. Ice was about 12" half white half black. About 3" of flood water but not too bad. I then tried out star lake on way home and at least had a fish jump out of water in my hole while setting up another rod 20' away. Lol I think it went for the little chunk of trout dough I dropped in water beside my line. I just heard my bell and heard a splash and went over to check but it never had my hook so thinking it went for the dough instead of my small minnow. After that not a bite. Ice at star was about 8" of black and 5 of white. Plus all the snow of course. Fun but unsuccessful day. Roads were horrible. Can't wait to get out and try again
