Hey guys just wondering if anyone has been to beaver mines lake yet since the ice came off? Me and the wife are looking at taking our niece their for her first time fishing and was hoping to hear how it is before we jump in the truck!
I've fished it once since ice fishing season ended and one of my buddies from Lethbridge has been out pretty much every weekend since the ice came off. It seems like it's fishing like most years, pretty decent. It was stocked already, so there are a variety of sizes in there, we seem to catch quite a few in the 13" - 16ish" range, with the odd bigger fish. I haven't fished it since it was stocked, but ice fishing was good to me this year.
Well we made it out and only had one bite and one fish in the time we were there. (Not very long thanks to my niece having ants in her pants). Seemed to be a lot of people on shore fishing.
Largest fish I’ve ever caught at beaver mines lake! 24” and weighed in at 5lbs even
