That was a good old fashion spanking but Vegas will recover.

Not sure exact details but something like 3% in all 4 pro sports come back from a 0-3 hole. Leafs going golfing!

I wonder if the 'Laffs" fans are having second thoughts about chanting "We want Florida" thinking they would be an easier team to beat than the Bruins. Playoffs and regular season are two totally different things. You think they would have figured that out by now.

^ I talked to my friend after Tampa lost, saying it was supposed to be Tampa that should have moved on if it wasn’t for Vassilevskiy. He is a die hard Leafs fan and I laugh at him every year. For the first time ever, at least from what I recall, he laughed said that they aren’t going anywhere the way they are playing. So there isn’t probably as much surprise as we think.

Only 4 teams have ever come back from 3-0. Amazingly the Leafs came back from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup final , only team to ever do it. 1942 Vs Wings. They wanted that cup bad and the little playoff cash they got. Todays millionaire kids, like Matthews, looks about as motivated as a coon hound sleeping in the sun.........with his $11,640,250 contract. Punt ! Finish em off Panthers , Leaf's SUCK.

Auston Matthews should start doing for the Leafs what he keeps on dishing out in those cheesy RBC commercials. Come on now..."Make it Count". Start scoring some goals.

I like to think I know hockey pretty well, guess not.

-Me: "It harder to score in playoff hockey, games are a bit tighter". Carolina and NJ have scored a combined 25 goals in three games, an average 8.3 g/game. On top of that, individual games, Seattle scored 7, Edmonton scored 5, Vegas scored 6......

-Me: "You need good goaltending to win in the playoffs". The Edmonton Oilers have the best odds to win the cup right now according to Sportsbook. Skinner has a 0.895 SA%. A mere 0.003% better than Markstrom in the regular season.....so, pretty bad.

-Me. "Beating the Oilers is easy, just stay out of the box, and there is a 95% chance you'll beat them at 5 vs 5". Vegas thought they'd try a different strategy, and took 70 PIM last game.

I liked McDavids comments after last game if he was concerned the next game has potential to get rougher ... He calmly said "If they want us on the Power Play all night that's fine with us" . Guy is just cool.

Ha! Back in the heyday it wasn't really as much about GAA it was just that you scored more than your opponent. Oh and you also had a wingman or 2 that could protect 99 and the other guns. Cue: Semenko, McSorley and even McClelland would throw down from time to time. Seems to be some parallels these days -

Maybe to keep things fair, Vegas should start their 4th stringer.

Stars - Kraken back to 2 - 2 it's a best of 3 now, hope our Oil do the same tonight, TSN turning point for them tonight.

Canes hung one on the devils so they are up 3 - 1 and the leafs could be golfing after tonight, I would think they will have a desperate push so really should win but the Panthers are not going to roll over.

Leafs are sad sacks. I like the story of David Ayres, a 42 year old Zamboni driver for the Toronto Marlies, forced into action as an emergency goalie for the Hurricanes in second period when the Hurricanes were visiting Leafs and both the Canes goalies went down. He let in two goals but Cane's still won 6-3.

Feels like the worst/weakest playoffs I've ever seen. Teams are taking every other night off and most of the games are blowouts.

Especially Vegas Edmonton.
Total domination on alternating games.
Sad to see that on any given night one team can beat another by 5 goals and the next night lose by 5 goals.

Not for fans of the teams that made them.

Panthers coming back to win 3 vs the best NHL team in decades. Krakken taking out the AV's. Leafs on the ropes. Players scoring 4 in one game. It's parity playoff year.

Just shows that preparation and the little things matter for a complete 60 minutes.

I think the playoffs have been great, lots of upsets and surprises, lots of goals, proof positive all you have to do is get in and you have a chance, parody in the league

Isn't that basically agreeing with me? An upset indicates the "better" team is no longer playing and "lots of goals" indicates beer league....

Ahhh far from beer league or we all would be getting a shift!

Fast, hard hitting, goal scoring, dirty in your face hockey….what’s not to like?

X2 he's lucky. As blatant as it was I think he should have got at least 2.
Well that's fine. Take game 5 and then game 6 back home. Make him and them pay on the ice. Said it once, Oil in 6

And the Stars take the lead there, Kraken fighting for their lives along with the leafs and after tonight either the Oil or LV will be up against the wall, it's crunch time in the NHL.
