Default Vic B @ Crowsnest Angler?

Anyone know if Vic Bergman is still at the Crowsnest Angler in Belleview? Good man, to say the least, but knew he was thinking of selling out a time-honored and respected business.

The business has been for sale for many years. Still for sale last time I drove by.

He would have sold it long ago if he included his rod days on the Elk!!

No 2023 updates on fishing reports either.

I will really miss chatting with Vic. He was a former fish biologist, I believe, and was very knowledgeable about many layers of fly fishing in his back yard. The last fishing report was August of 2022.

I believe there is a fly shop in Coleman that will have to do for future trips and recon.

Vic's wife passed on this early this year. I am sure that has had a profound influence on what he has planned for this season/year at the Crowsnest Angler.
Last fishing report is from yesterday.

Sad news to hear. My boys are 17 and soon 20 and we have fished the crow as trio for 15 years. Usually had the trailer at Lundbreck falls and we always popped by the shop for a few needed essentials and Vic always wanted to hear what the boys had to say and how was the fisin'.
Better times .

When I was a kid about 10ish I asked Vic how much a half day guided trip would be , and he took me out for free for about three hours . Great guy , will miss chatting with him at the shop

Default Vic is back.

Received an email from Vic saying he is slowly coming back after heartfelt losses. Glad to hear he is back with condolences and prayers to him and his family.

My apologies to all if I jumped the gun on his leaving the business. Turns out it was a hasty conclusion on my part.
